I’m Amanda Way and if you couldn’t tell by now, I am a graphic designer!
My journey with design started when I got a job working at Trader Joe’s in 2013. I stumbled upon a trait about myself I didn’t know I had, which was the ability to do hand lettering for their unique signage. After working there for 4 years making signs, I realized my potential could be pushed even further if I went back to school– so that’s what I did. I got my BFA in Graphic Design from Woodbury University, where they worked with my skills but also gave me the tools to be a professional designer.
While at Woodbury, I thoroughly enjoyed working with motion design, user experience, and branding. Now as a professional designer, I enjoy keeping up with design trends and learning the new possibilities with technology, while always beginning any project the same way: with tons of research!
When I’m not designing for clients, I’ll often be linocut printmaking, lettering with pastel chalk, or making small stop motion animations.
I hope you have enjoyed seeing my work and look forward to hearing from you about possible collaborations!
